- Anmok Travel Lounge transforms into a space offering income for local artists and memories for tourists -

​ Gangneung City announced that it will operate a souvenir shop in Anmok Travel Lounge, providing special memories to tourists and promoting local specialties.

 The project aims to increase tourist satisfaction and revitalize the local economy in collaboration with local small business owners and creators by selling various souvenirs and specialties that capture the essence of Gangneung.

 At the souvenir shop, tourists will be welcomed with emotionally evocative goods representative of Gangneung. ▲Wooden magnets featuring famous Gangneung sites (Gangneung coffee, Chodang tofu, filming locations from Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Jeongdongjin etc.) ▲Beach-themed goods (beach magnets, mugs, ocean postcards, posters) ▲Yeonhohyang pattern tumbler cases and mini pouches ▲ Jinttobaegi name tags, anchovy pens, and other specialty items only available in Gangneung.

 Gangneung City said, “Anmok Travel Lounge is like a small gift for those who love Gangneung. We hope that it will be a place where local artists can promote their work and earn income, as well as being a space for tourists to take memories of Gangneung home with them.”

 The souvenir shop will be open year-round from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Anmok Travel Lounge on Gangneung Coffee Street.
