A labor contract is a contract concluded between an employer and an employee. The contract should set forth important matters agreed upon by the two parties, such as wages, working hours, breaks, holidays, and vacations/leaves, and it should be documented, signed, and kept by both parties.

• If you are a foreigner, you must pay the premium for the month by the 25th of the previous month (however, the premiums incurring as a result of retroactive application are added to the initial premium). The premium calculated according to your income and properties is below the average, the average of the premiums paid by all enrollees as of November in the previous year will be imposed. Please note that the average insurance premium in 2021 was KRW 131,790.
• Permanent residents with an F-5 or F-6 status must pay their premiums by the 10th of the following month according to the same imposition standards applied to Korean citizens.

Places of business with 5 or more employees are subject to the Labor Standards Act, in which case the standard work hours per week cannot exceed 40 hours, excluding breaks, and the work hours per day cannot exceed 8 hours, excluding breaks.
