Labor Standards Act

The Labor Standards Act was enacted to guarantee and improve the basic livelihood of workers by setting standards for working conditions and to promote balanced national economic development.

Labor contract

A labor contract is a contract concluded between an employer and an employee. The contract should set forth important matters agreed upon by the two parties, such as wages, working hours, breaks, holidays, and vacations/leaves, and it should be documented, signed, and kept by both parties.

  • If you are a foreigner, you must pay the premium for the month by the 25th of the previous month (however, the premiums incurring as a result of retroactive application are added to the initial premium).
