Early childhood is a time of rapid physical development and susceptibility to diseases due to the declining immunity obtained from the mother. During this period, infants and young children can receive free health care and essential vaccinations at public health centers.
- National Child Vaccination Support Program
- Eligibility criteria : children under the age of 12
- Where to obtain free vaccinations : public health centers nationwide and designated medical institutions
- If you have a resident registration number or alien registration number (incl. exempt persons), you can obtain free vaccinations for your child at a public health center or a designated medical institution.
- Foreigners who have stayed in Korea for more than 3 months but have not registered as aliens should visit the local public health center with proof of identity (passport, etc.) and obtain a temporary management number for free vaccinations for their child.
If a person who has been issued a foreigner management number wants to obtain free vaccinations for their child at a medical institution, they must pay for the full cost themselves.
